Younis is a business savvy HSE professional with 20 years of rich experience within Oil & Gas industry, in a broad scope of business management responsibilities including HSE Planning, HSE Budgeting, HSE Communication, HSE Data Management and HSE Assurance.
He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics from UK before taking up a role in Exploration Directorate of Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). Ever since he joined PDO, he has been successfully leading strategies, plans, and programs that drive organizational change, operational excellence and sustainable improvements across PDO.
Younis is an exemplary visionary HSE leader with a proven track record of engaging & building high performance teams, along with developing talent to maximize organizational & individual performance and realize their full potential.
In his current role as Head HSE Corporate Planning, he is entrusted with the role of HSE Assurance Manager with the responsibilities that also include ensuring a robust HSE policy, HSE control framework, HSE internal controls compliance assurance and corporate governance.
